Two of Pentacles

Two of Pentacles

Duality exists as a powerful force within Creation. The Two of Pentacles represents a striving for unity, and the merging of two polarities. This card can be interpreted on many levels, which may include a new relationship, partnership, or the ability to communicate more effectively with others. As well, this card suggests that we may expand our perceptions by taking a deeper look into the unified forces of Nature.

The colorful flamingo is a striking image, and a symbol of balance and the ability to maintain balance. In flight, the flamingo is the epitome of grace, and thus represents graceful motion and migration. Cattails possess a strong earth energy and symbolize stability, peace, and prosperity. Ivy grows in a spiraling pattern with great vigor. Since ivy climbs and expands, it represents a capacity to flow harmoniously through life and to meet life’s challenges. Its spiral growth also symbolizes development, renewal, and opportunity.

Nature Spirit Tarot - Encounters with Nature and the Journey of the Soul
Second Edition

The Nature Spirit Tarot took nine years to create: eight years of research, design and painting, and another year of production and self publishing. A great deal of research went into this project. Selecting just the right nature elements to express the meanings of these treasured cards was a project in itself. The tarot deck has a rich and extensive history, and continues to be a tool used and loved by many people.

Jean’s interest in the tarot originated with her journey of self exploration. The deck was designed as a tool for personal growth. The accompanying book, also written by Jean, reflects this character in its descriptions of the card.
